The Mighty Wolf was built in response to requests from weavers who liked the Baby Wolf and wanted the same loom but wider. The Mighty Wolf has a weaving width of 36", and uses the same X-frame design as the Baby Wolf. The Mighty Wolf comes with a high castle that includes a handy storage tray. Available in four or eight harness models, or Four Now-Four Later*.
*"Four Now - Four Later" (4N4L) is an eight harness loom shipped with only four harnesses installed, but with the capacity to add an additional four harnesses. You can purchase a kit to add four harnesses at a later time. 4N4L looms are shipped with all the heddles, tie-ups and other items normally included with an eight harness loom.
Included are your choice of stainless steel reed (6, 8, 10, 12, 15 or 20-dent), 3 lease sticks, a brass reed hook, stainless steel heddle bars, a maintenance manual and flat steel heddles (800 for the 4-harness and 1000 for the 8-harness) - or select inserted eye heddle option below if you prefer.
With the exception of the Wolf Pup, all Schacht Wolf looms will be shipped by freight to your home. You will be notified in advance of the delivery day of your weaving loom. You will have to arrange for someone to transport the loom off the truck and into your home.
